WNC Rocketman
2001 bay gelding (Holiday Compadre x Moonset’s Reflection) Rocket is a big, 15.3 hand, seven year old gelding with Morgan ‘type’ and inquisitive, fun loving personality. Rocket has been shown in Dressage at First Level and is the USEF 2007, “Horse of the Year” Region 7 champion: Morgan Dressage First Level. He is presently training at second level. Past achievements include, “High Score Champion” in his first show at intro level, at the Citrus Cup Regional Show with only three months under saddle. Merriewold Galaxie
2004 chestnut mare (Iron Forge Starman x Ringbrook Renaissance) Eight months in training with Sally Anderson, Grand Prix rider/trainer of Galaxie’s sire Iron Forge Starman. Starman is competing in open shows at FEI levels. Sally is very pleased with Galaxie’s progress, “Galaxie is starting to give nicely to the bit, bend through her body and cantering a nice circle and doing so relaxed. She is leg yielding and has nice canter transitions.” Galaxie is now also driving a cart in the arena and along the road side and pulls a sleigh as well! (See above photo) She will be ready to compete in the Spring.
Galaxie is an excellent prospect for a rider wanting to excel in Dressage, driving or other sport divisions.

Caduceus Marika
1992 bay mare (Patchett Hill x Caduceus Exira) We are expecting 3 foals
from the cross: Caduceus Marika x RG Stuart’s Monarch in 2008. (to see Monarch’s web site go to the MWM resources page, click on Grunden Ranch) All three are via embryo transfer. The foals are predominately Brunk and Funquest breeding: proven sport horse programs. They will be large, ‘typy’, athletic and tractable. Our first foal from Marika, Merriewold Java (x Dragonfire Kirin ) is outstanding!
One of these foals is for sale now with purchase of the surrogate mare.
