It was a lovely day and the turn out was even better than we had hoped…70-90 neighbors, friends and Morgan horse enthusiasts! We will be writing a full article with many more photos so please, if you attended send your photos to:

While in Florida I had a chance to visit the ranch where my passion for horses began. The two Morgan Mares that started it all…Smurfette and Hot Chocolate are still there and look great.
Well, actually it took several days. We moved five horses to the new barn on Friday June 1. These five got to settle in over the weekend. Jackie and I rode in the arena for the first time on Saturday, and had our first lesson with Carol Friend at the ranch on Monday. The mares and foals and two yearlings came the following Tuesday. Here is our move in pictures:

Spring is here and flowers are everywhere. Also, we are wrapping up the final stages on the ranch and will have the horses here very soon…

As we wait patiently for the pastures to grow in, the construction of the barn and round pen are almost finished. It won’t be long now!
